how is it going out there what i want to no iff sprint has any talking phones and iff they do please let me no and iff they are worth buying
Yes they have talking cell phones from Sprint! I had one! But my brother is going to buy it from me! It's not worth it! You have to press a button you tell the phone what to do! It repeats you then it asks you if you are sure! I lost my phone at first caus my cousin Arlina said I could call my friends when ever I wanted! When my mom and sister were on the regular phone I'd call my friends! I got it stuck on mute and no one was able to fix it! My sister told me she could fix it! That was a few days ago! My mom said she didn't want to do it before! So the phone isn't worth it!
Yeah I think Cingular has a phone just like that too.
The Motorola Q from Sprint can run Mobile Speak Smartphone.
I have the virgin mobile cell phone which seems to work well. the phone can be set up for voice commands which is all a blind person really needs
Motorola Q is totally worth getting
I agree; I just bought one a week ago, and am trying Smart Hal as well as Mobile Speak Smart to see which one I like best, but so far I think I like Smart Hal the best. Only problem there, is Smart Hal is a relatively new piece of software, so I've had a couple issues with it, but I like it's layout better, and I'm working on trying to figure out what may be causing the problems I'm currently having with it.
Good morning. I hope you will share why you like smart hal better. That would be an interesting comparison. I use Mobile Peak on the HTC Tytn and love it. Looked at pocket Hal and didn't like the command structure at all. looking forward to the comparison.
I mainly like the way it configures the home screen and the fact that it uses the elequence synth which is what I'm used to using. I haven't mastered all the hotkey combinations as of yet, and some of them only seem to want to work when they want to, but they way I look at that, I had that same problem with Mobile Speak Smartphone, so it's most likely going to be a take your pick issue, and I'd prefer something I can at least understand the speech.
How do I tell with Sprint whether coverage will be for voice only, or if I could use Internet and data features in my area? It's cool they even offer plans with free unlimited incoming calls now, so I really could consider getting rid of the land line.
the Samsung A640 has built in support, which speaks the menus etc. doesn't do text messageing though. check out blind cool tech, for a recent review.
I like sprints!! I just wish they had more talking phones!! They have lots of plans to get
